Welcome
Note Welcome to a great, historic, and moving-forward
business district. DABA has been working hard
for over 10 years and we have seen our work pay-off.
We have businesses like Godwin Hardware (50 years),
Tommy Brann's Steakhouse & Grille (37 years), Metro
Motors (30 years), and many more. Our
businesses range from big (like McDonalds) to small
(like Engles Jewelers). Big or small, we
worked hard together to form the DABA and we hope
more businesses will join us.

Through a joint Planning
Commission and City Council meeting, City Planner
Tim Cochran presented a plan that would transform
the project area, commonly referred to as Fisher’s
Station, into a mixed use/transit oriented
development that would feature three to four story
retail buildings, a large variety of residential
dwellings, parks, greenways, interconnected roadways
and more.
